The process of redesigning of Basara dam has been completed. It is worth to mention that the group of companies explored a considerable threat risk factor on implementing original design submitted by the Employer (Government of Iraq) which was designed by an international company earlier. The recent redesign also includes the relocation of Dam body site to another area within the close vicinity. The starting date of new work operation is expected to start early June 2019.
